This is Isaac the night LOST his first TWO teeth! It was bedtime and we were actually in a hurry to get the kids in bed so we could watch the first show of LOST this season. We were very excited to see it. We thought we had gotten everyone settled in and went back downstairs. Then we heard footsteps running around and Cooper was yelling for us to come quick. i had not heard a loud boom so I did not think it was an injury. So as we went upstairs we realized that Isaac had lost his first tooth! Actually, his brother had pulled it out! After there was pictures, celebration and a tooth under the pillow, we walked back downstairs. We knew he had another tooth lose, but we did not know that before we could get settled on the couch, there would be more yelling and running around and yet ANOTHER tooth that had been pulled. This time the tooth was pulled by Isaac. So more clean-up, celebration, more pictures and one more tooth under the pillow. So then we finally got everyone back to bed and tucked in for the night. We still got to see our show! All was not Lost, because of TiVo. Yeah for new shows!
Happy Chinese New Year! The year of the Rat! We celebrated this year at a New Years' celebration with our local FCC group. (Others that have adopted from China in our area) There were the cutest little girls dancing and there was also a Dancing Dragon the made an appearance! It is so fun to celebrate this with our dear friends.
Cooper as Ron from Harry Potter. He got to dress up at school as his favorite book character. He chose Ron. He read some Harry Potter for the read-a-thon at school. Pretty crazy to think that 2 years ago in Kindergarten he was just learning to read. Isaac is in that camp right now and I am so proud of him!
Happy Heart Day! I gave Kevin a Wii for Valentines. The boys got games for it. I was not planning on this, but walked into Game Stop the other day in the mall and asked how easy it was to get a Wii post Christmas, because I was thinking birthdays this summer. The guy said they had one right now. As I was talking, another man came in and wanted to buy it. I called Kevin and he said buy it! I still thought we would just wait to give it to everyone in the summer, but it kept coming out of the package at night after the kids went to bed and I feared we would not be able to keep it under wraps any longer. So we had a very fun Valentines night of family fun. I did start to crave italian food that night and tried to run down the street to get take out, but our favorite Italian place 2 minutes down the road was not open because of an emergency. Kevin said he would take me there Sat. night on a date, so I had to wait. Little did I know we would have our own emergency Sat. night. Have to post more later...
